  • Dr. Garcia: Non-Directive Counseling Seminar

Our very own Dan Garcia will be leading a  non-directive counseling seminar on Saturday at 1pm in room 183 Dwinelle for 2 hours. All leaders are encouraged to attend, as well as any potential leaders who are interested in learning how to counsel others, especially those who are struggling or in crisis.

  • Sac Plunge Deadline Extended to this Sunday!

The Sacramento Urban Plunge is an alternative spring break experience that will allow you to learn more about topics such as shalom, God’s kingdom,
ethnic identity, poverty, and systemic injustice. Join students from both Cal and UC Merced in a week of serving in the community, learning about
the city, and studying Scripture with others.

  • CCF Leadership Town Hall Meeting

Sunday, March 7th–7:30-9pm; 126 Barrows

For those of you who call CCF your community and are interested in either serving or leading in our fellowship next year, please join us for our annual town hall meeting. During this meeting, we will be discussing the current state of our fellowship, casting vision for next year, sharing opportunities for you to be part of God’s work, and giving guidelines for the leadership selection process. We will be sharing about  existing leadership positions (small group, large group, worship, prayer, and covenant team), as well as some new teams- creative media team, hospitality, and communications.

Anyone interested in getting more involved in our fellowship in any way or just learning more about where we’re headed is encouraged to come. Those applying for leadership are required to attend unless they talk to a staff first.

  • Next Week’s LG: Always the Women

112 Wurster, Doors open at 7pm, performance starts at 7:30pm

Next week, CCF is hosting a special evangelistic large group called ‘Always the Women”- a solo performance by Nina Thiel acting out all of Jesus’ interaction with women in the gospels. This is a great way to engage in dialogue with others on the campus during Women’s History Month about the treatment of women both by Jesus and by the Church, so please invite your friends of all faith backgrounds to attend. There will be a Q&A time with the performer afterwards.

Tickets will be $5 and all proceeds will go to the Berkeley Women’s Homeless Shelter. Please see a member of Wi-Sex after large group to buy tickets, or come to Sproul Plaza from Tues-Thursday this week between 11-2 if you are interested in buying tickets ahead of time. They will also be sold at the door.

  • CCF/BCM Racial Reconciliation Roundtable

March 8th, 8pm; Unit 1 Christian Hall Lounge.

Join students from both CCF and Black Campus Ministries as we discuss recent events causing racial division on UC campuses. As sister fellowships, we will be sharing about what it means for Christian students to partner together as allies in bringing racial reconciliation and justice to all communities.   • Raising funds for Haiti!

Aaron Yung designed shirts to raise money for Haiti, and they have arrived! They are selling for 15$ and all proceeds will go to Samaritan’s Purse. Supply is also limited. Contact Aaron Yung (aaronyung@berkeley.edu)!

This is an annual art show that Intervarsity puts on.  We’re looking for visual and performing artists!
