Where’s Large Group?

Join us back in 10 Evans this Friday, March 5th, for the conclusion of our Genesis series. We will be looking at Genesis 3 and Original Sin. Please come on time!

Next Week’s LG (March 12th): Always the Women

112 Wurster; Doors open at 7pm, performance starts at 7:30pm

Next week, CCF is hosting a special evangelistic large group called “Always the Women”–a solo performance by Nina Thiel acting out all of Jesus’ interactions with women in the gospels. This is a great way to engage in dialogue with others on the campus during Women’s History Month about the treatment of women both by Jesus and by the Church, so please invite your friends of all faith backgrounds to attend. There will be a Q&A time with the performer afterwards.

Tickets are $5 and all proceeds will go to the Berkeley Women’s Homeless Shelter. Come to Sproul Plaza from Tues-Thursday this week between 11-2 if you are interested in buying tickets ahead of time. They will also be sold at the door.

Spring Semester Mark Study

Mark study is a weekly, 2-hour, intensive Bible study on the Gospel of Mark. Through this study, you will learn how to study the Bible inductively in community and will explore the identity of Jesus, the call of His disciples, and the nature of faith. It is a great way to learn in community and experience the power of a God who speaks to us.

2 weekly studies will be happening this semester and will begin the week of February 8th

-Mondays, 2-4pm (with Carol Lee and Jen Hollingsworth- InterVarsity staff in the East Bay)

-Fridays, 2-4pm (with Erina Kim- Cal Christian Fellowship team leader)

No Large Group-February 5th

We will be resuming large groups on February 12th in 145 Dwinelle at 7pm.
