Erina is entering her 5th year of working with Cal Christian Fellowship, the multiethnic chapter at Cal. She loves seeing college students ask questions, take risks, grow in their worldview, and be surprised by the Jesus of the Scriptures. She also loves food, sports, music, books, redwood trees, and the Lakers.

Sara is Japanese and Chinese American. She likes dogs, 90’s music, pita chips, and games. Her favorite word of all-time is “shalom.” The more she learns about and knows Jesus, the more she wants to follow him.

Andrew loves basketball, cooking, reading, and looking at Safeway ads online. He feels blessed that everyday, he feels like he is learning more about God, His love, and His purposes in the world. He also has a gift for (purposely?) saying awkward things to break tension

Becky is a unique individual who loves animals, crossword puzzles, and reading interesting books. She likes to read design blogs online while eating grilled cheese sandwiches. She also likes to write letters to God and draw pictures of intriguing things. This year, she is keeping a journal of the ways God provides and moves in her life. She hopes to fill it up completely in 11 months.

Sarah chi hails from garden grove, which is in the awesome region of southern california! she loves cooking, watching movies, the outdoors, and playing sports. one of her favorite verses is Proverbs 3:5-6, and if she could have a super power, it would be time travel/teleportation.

Christina graduated from Cal in May with a major in Linguistics and a minor in Spanish. She loves to read, cook, explore the outdoors, and have interesting conversations. She is really looking forward to this year with InterVarsity and can not wait to see how God is going to grow His kingdom in Berkeley!

Matt is from nearby San Jose and graduated last year studying Social Welfare and Education. Some of his simple joys are playing sports, eating delicious food, and taking long walks on the beach. just kidding. He has been loyal through all the tough years to the local sports teams, such as the Warriors, Giants, and of course, the Cal Bears.

Derek, a Taiwanese-born Canadian, just graduated from Cal but decided to stay another year to hang out with the college kids to share more about how God works in amazing and relevant ways. In his spare time he likes to hang out with friends, play guitar, play sports, and fold notes into stars for his girlfriend who just moved to Ohio for school.
