Our vision is to be a community of students transformed by the whole Gospel to love God, the campus and the world.
What does this mean?
We are a community of students. We believe that God has called us, as people created in His image, to live in relationship with Him and with one another. On a campus as large and as divided as Cal is, we hope to see students experience a community where they can feel encouraged, supported, and accepted for who they are, wherever they are at in their faith journey.
We are being transformed by the whole Gospel. We believe that the good news that Jesus offers us is not one-dimensional, but holistic. It not only brings spiritual healing, but physical, emotional, and relational healing as well. Thus we hope to see students encounter Jesus on a variety of different levels, transforming both who we are and what we do.
We are called to love. As we experience the good news of Jesus in our own lives, we know that we must also share and embody that good news to others through lives of love. We hope that love will be the ultimate marker of our impact – not just on the campus but in God’s world.
